This weeks series had it all, a top 10 match up, one team clinching the Conference title, a team losing by more then 1 run for the first time in over a month and a half.

Game 1- South Mountain 6 – Central Arizona 5

After South Mountain Jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the 5th they never looked back. Central Arizona tried to even it up but couldn’t get past the relief pitching. Tallon Thompson got his 15th Save of the Season which is 5 more than anyone else in the entire country.

South Mountain clinched the Conference title with the win and Guarantied some post season baseball.

Game 2- Central Arizona 13 – South Mountain 2

Central Arizona showed up Saturday ready to play. Jumping out to an early lead in the 1st and putting up crooked numbers in the 4th, 6th, 7th, 8th and a 4 spot in the 9th. South Mountain could not seem to get anything going agains any of the Central pitchers

South Mountain will finish off their season this week with 2 games agains Cochise and 2 against Arizona Western

Central Arizona will finish off their season this week with 2 games against Eastern Arizona and 2 against Cochise
